Who We Are

We are a collective of amateur table football enthusiasts dedicated to keeping the beautiful game alive on the felt. From seasoned veterans who remember the classic sets of the '70s and '80s to newcomers taking their very first flick, Tron City Flicks is built on community, friendly competition, and a shared love for tactical tabletop gaming.

Where We Are

Based in the heart of HamilTRON City, our new club hopes to meet regularly for match nights, casual league play, and local tournaments. Whether you're looking to compete seriously or just fancy a relaxed flick and a laugh with great company, our doors (and pitches) are always open.

What is Subbuteo?

Created in 1947, Subbuteo is the classic tabletop football game that simulates real soccer through strategy, skill, and precision. Played on a large green cloth pitch with miniature players mounted on rounded bases, players flick their figures with a finger to pass, tackle, and shoot a small ball into the opposition’s net. It’s quick to learn, takes a lifetime to master, and offers all the drama and glory of the real sport—right at your fingertips.

New Zealand Subbuteo Satellite Tournament Hamilton Open

The New Zealand Subbuteo Association (NZSA) is the national body dedicated to promoting and growing the sport of Subbuteo and table football throughout New Zealand. Bringing together players of all ages and skill levels, the NZSA organises tournaments, supports local clubs, and fosters a welcoming community built around friendly competition and a shared passion for the game. Whether you're a seasoned international competitor or discovering Subbuteo for the first time, the NZSA provides opportunities to play, improve, and connect with fellow enthusiasts across the country.

The Fédération Internationale de Sports Table Football (FISTF) is the international governing body for the sport of table football (Subbuteo). Established to promote, develop, and standardise the game worldwide, FISTF oversees the official rules, international rankings, and the World Tour, which includes tournaments across Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa, and Oceania. It also organises the prestigious FISTF World Cup and Champions League, bringing together the world's best players to compete at the highest level. Through its network of affiliated national associations, FISTF continues to grow the sport while fostering friendship, sportsmanship, and international competition.
